A mid 20th century platinum and gold diamond and enamel Corps of Signals cap badge. The single-cut diamond and diamond point figure of Mercury holding a Caduceus, standing upon an old and single-cut diamond globe, to the blue enamel 'Certa Cito' scroll and aloft crown. One diamond deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 0.35ct. Length 4.1cms. Weight 6.3gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. One diamond deficient. Some possible replacement stones. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Minor to large inclusions, many visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair to good condition, mostly with minor abrasion, some with large nicks associated with surface reaching inclusions. Enamel in good condition with minor abrasion.
