Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear and age. The amethyst is a slightly patchy mid to dark purple with strong saturation and good clarity. The tourmaline is a purplish-pink, with fairly good clarity showing typical inclusions under magnification that do not affect the passage of light through the stone. The topaz is a slightly brownish yellow with moderate saturation and fairly good clarity with light colour inclusions just visible with the naked eye. The condition of the gemstones is good to fair with some small nicks to some facet edges. Please see the Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. The split pearls are a fair match with silvery and creamy colours, with good to fairly good skins some showing peeling and abrasion. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
