A mid 19th century 12ct gold continental aquamarine brooch. Of openwork design, the oval-shape aquamarine, within an scrolling foliate surround, suspending a similarly-designed pear-shape aquamarine drop. Length 8.2cms. Weight 11.7gms.

Overall condition good. Principal scrolling panel appears misshapen. Minor surface scratches and obvious discolouration to both scrolling panels, reinforcement panel to reverse.
