Lot Description
An early 20th century 15ct gold demantoid garnet and split pearl picture locket. The oval-shape double-sided locket, to the scrolling surround with circular-shape demantoid garnet and split pearl floral spacers and similarly gem-set surmount. Hallmarks for Birmingham, partially rubbed. Length 4.7cms. Weight 8.2gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with minimal wear. The split pearls are mostly well matched. One appears slightly discoloured with glue to the edge of the mount and slight wear to the nacre layers. The demantoid garnets are a well matched vibrant yellowy green hue, one appears a slightly darker hue.
