An early 20th century 15ct gold and platinum gem-set and enamel Regimental brooch. The old-cut diamond and diamond point horse, within a blue enamel stylised belt with motto 'Quo fas et gloria ducunt', to the single-cut diamond, diamond point and synthetic ruby lion and crown surmount. One synthetic ruby deficient. Length 3.8cms. Weight 6gms.

Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. One synthetic ruby deficient. Some evidence of repair. Enamel in fair to good condition with some nibbles. Synthetic rubies pink, fair colour saturation, fair condition, generally with some abrasion, one chipped.
