An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. The alternating old-cut diamonds and cushion-shape sapphires, with diamond point accents, to the scrolling gallery and tapered band. Estimated total diamond weight 0.70ct, I-J colour, SI1-P1 clarity. Weight 2.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Evidence of resizing. Wear to the claws. Sapphires differ very slightly in hue, blue with moderate to dark colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions, to include colour zoning. Fair to good condition with abrasion to the facet edges. Large surface reaching inclusion visible to the unaided eye, fair condition with significant nibbles to the surface and a large nibble associated with the surface reaching inclusion, durability of this area may be affected. Outer old-cut diamonds with minor to scattered inclusions visible under magnification, good condition with minor abrasion and some nicks. Diamond points in good to poor condition, generally with minor abrasion and nicks, one chipped, durability may be impaired. Ring size K1/2. Stamped 18.
