Lot Description
IWC - a gentleman's Portuguese 7 Day wrist watch. Reference 5001 06, numbered 3201306. Signed automatic calibre 51010. Grey dial with silvered Arabic numeral hour markers, date aperture to six, power reserve indicator and subsidiary seconds dial to three and nine respectively. 18k white gold case with exhibition case back, fitted to an authentic brown alligator strap with an 18k white gold deployant clasp. 42mm. Box and papers. <p>
The Portuguese family has been a mainstay of the IWC brand offering since its inception in 1939. The name comes from the request for wristwatches featuring high precision pocket watch movements, received from two Portuguese importers. The design has changed very little since those early days remaining clear, subtle and understated. The automatic 51011 calibre includes the famous and highly efficient Pellaton winding system in addition to the 168hr power reserve.

<li> Automatic movement is currently functioning.
<li> Movement appears in a very good condition.
<li> Dial, hands and glass all appear in a very good condition, there are no scratches noticeable to the surface when viewed under 10x loupe.
<li> Date setting and power reserve function are working properly.
<li> Case shows only light scuffs in various places due to general wear, majority should polish out.
<li> Crown works properly and shows only tiny scuffs in a few places.
<li> Strap shows light signs of wear only such as creasing, especially to the inner side and around holes.
<li> Deployant clasp is slightly scuffed from previous wear, all should polish out.
<li> Generally watch appears in a good state.<p>
This lot comes with a box in used condition with light general wear and papers consisting of a guarantee card dated 22/09/07.<p>
