Lot Description
A mid 20th century diamond double clip. Of asymmetric design, the old and circular-cut diamond ribbons and graduated lines, to the old and circular-cut diamond scroll panels, with single-cut diamond accents. Estimated total diamond weight 4.90cts. Length 6.7cms. Weight 30.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with general wear. Some wear to the white metal surface. Two possible replacement diamonds, one at an angle within its setting, may need securing. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Two principal diamonds total estimated weight 0.60ct, H-I colour, P1 clarity. Assessed within the limits of the mount. One with chips to the crown facets and girdle. The other with large inclusions extending from the girdle to the table, nicks to the girdle. Individual size of the outer diamonds prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Some are drawing slight yellow hues. Clarity varies, scattered to large and profuse inclusions, some of which are surface reaching and visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in fair to good condition, some with minor abrasion, some with nicks, nibbles and chips. Stamped 750.
