A garnet necklace and brooch. The necklace designed as a graduated series of vari-shape garnets, each within a rope-twist surround, together with a similarly-designed brooch. Length of necklace 39cms. Length of brooch 6cms. Weight 39.8gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and small discolouration in keeping with general wear and alteration. The pin on the brooch is a later addition. The garnets are well matched with a dark slightly purplish-red of good saturation, with fairly good clarity with typical inclusions.
