Lot Description
A mid 20th century diamond bow pendant. The old-cut diamond collet, within an old and rose-cut diamond stylised bow, with foliate and scroll detail, suspending a series of old-cut diamond double drops, to the trace-link chain, may be worn as a brooch. One outer diamond chipped. Estimated total diamond weight 5.75cts, I-K colour, VS-P1 clarity. Austrian marks to clasp. Length 4.7cms. Total weight 11.9gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Bow with hinged sections. Repairs to the reverse with soft solder, loss of movement to two hinged section. Some repairs are yellow in hue. Repair to one of the terminal loops of the chain, yellow hue. Diamonds bright and fairly well matched. Principal diamond estimated weight 1.46cts, J-K colour, VS clarity. No obvious inclusions visible under magnification. Outer diamonds vary slightly in hue, some are drawing slightly more of a yellow hue than others. Clarity varies, generally minor to scattered inclusions visible under magnification, some with slightly larger inclusions, one chipped. Diamonds in fair to good condition, mostly with minor abrasion, some with significant nicks, one with a chip to the crown. Length of chain 44cms.
