An early 20th century seed pearl and gem-set fringe necklace. Designed as a series of gemstone collets, to include ruby, turquoise, amethyst, garnet, zircon, aquamarine, sapphire and various others, each suspending a seed pearl, to the graduated seed pearl single-strand. Length 38.5cms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear and discolouration in keeping with age. Gemstones differ slightly in shape. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions, one with a significant surface reaching inclusion. Turquoise with typical veining/features. Gemstones in fair to good condition with some abrasion, nicks and nibbles. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Seed pearls untested for natural origin. Seed pearls slightly uneven in shape. Differ in shape. Creamy colour with rose, greenish and bluish overtones. Fair skins with surface blemishes. Fairly good lustre. Seed pearls in the strand measure approximately 1.3 to 1.9mms. Pendent seed pearls measure approximately 1.8 to 2.7mms.
