Lot Description

An early 20th century gold mother-of-pearl and enamel pendant. The pear-shape mother-of-pearl panel, within a scrolling surround, to the reverse with later added red and green enamel, converted from a hatpin. Length 3.4cms. Weight 5gms.

Condition Report

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear in keeping with age/general wear. Pendant converted from a hatpin. Soft solder to the surmount. Later added enamel. Some nicks to the front scrolls. Mother-of-pearl creamy white, good condition with minor scratches and abrasion. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Enamel in good condition, some enamel scattered around the plain reverse panel.
