Lot Description

A demantoid garnet and diamond pendant. The pear-shape demantoid garnet, within a halo surround, to the tapered central panel with vari-shape diamond foliate detail, suspended from a circular-cut diamond surmount and replacement fetter and three-link chain. Length of pendant 4cms. Length of chain 41cms. Weight 4.1gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches in keeping with general wear. Demantoid garnet drop and chain are possible replacements. Estimated total diamond weight 0.06ct. Principal diamond with a surface reaching inclusion near to the edge. Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
