ANDREW GRIMA - an 18ct gold ruby and diamond dress ring. Of asymmetric design, the circular ruby cabochon, within an extended collet setting, to the brilliant-cut diamond crossover shoulders and tapered band. Signed Grima. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Hallmarks for London, 1979. Weight 6.9gms.

Overall condition good. Minor surface wear and light scratches in keeping with general wear. Evidence of resizing, slight thinning to the back of the band. Ruby deep purplish-red. Typical to profuse inclusions that significantly affect the passage of light through the stone. Gemstone in good condition with some abrasion and nicks.
