A late 19th century gold micro-mosaic brooch. The oval-shape tesserae depicting the Parthenon within a Grecian scene, inset to the goldstone panel, within an openwork scroll surround. Length 3.6cms. Weight 6.6gms.

Overall condition good. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Some wear to the gilt surface. Micro-mosaic panel in fair to good condition with some wear and small chipped sections.
