An early 20th century 15ct gold diamond, ruby and sapphire brooch. Designed as an old-cut diamond, circular-shape ruby and sapphire trefoil, to the scrolling bar. Estimated diamond weight 0.25ct, J-K colour, P2 clarity. Length 4.2cms. Weight 5.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Pin terminal to the safety chain is a possible addition/replacement, of a similar age. Sapphire blue, ruby pinkish-red, moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions, to include colour banding. Gemstones in good condition with some nicks and nibbles. Please see Important Notices for Purchasers in our catalogue or on our website for coloured gemstones. Diamond fairly bright, drawing a yellow hue. Assessed within the limits of the mount. Significant surface reaching fracture running from the girdle to the table, visible to the unaided eye. Diamond in fair condition with some large nicks associated with the surface reaching inclusion. Stamped 15ct.
