Lot Description
Two early 20th century 15ct gold split and seed pearl brooches. To include a rectangular-shape split pearl buckle brooch, together with a split and seed pearl shamrock bar brooch. Lengths 2 and 3.6cms. Weight 7.4gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair to good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Replacement pins, the first is base metal. Second with evidence of repair/alteration to the safety catch, soft solder. Seed pearl untested for natural origin. Some possible replacement split pearls. Seed and split pearls creamy colour, vary slightly in hue. Generally with fair to fairly good skins with some surface blemishes, one with more significant surface wear to the nacre layers. Generally fairly good lustre, one with a duller lustre due to wear. First stamped 15ct.
