An early 20th century gold citrine and split pearl brooch. The oval-shape citrine, within a split pearl border. Estimated dimensions of citrine: 12.5 by 10 by 7.3mms. Length 1.9cms. Weight 4.3gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and scuffs in keeping with general wear and age. There is an acid mark to the reverse. The pins is a different tone to the mount and they may be of different fineness. The citrine is a slightly brownish-orange, with moderate colour saturation and some minor abrasion to facet edges. The split pearls are fairly well matched for colour some show a silvery discolouration, with moderate lustre showing some green and pink overtones, with fairly good skins showing some surface blemishes. Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
