Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and small patches of slight discolouration in keeping with general wear. The pin is of a different tone to the rest of the brooch. The diamonds are bright, lively and well matched. Small light and dark inclusions can be seen under magnification. Individual size and setting prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. The emeralds are well matched with a patchy dark green and whitish streaks, both show profuse inclusions that significantly affect the passage of light through the stones, some are surface reaching.
