A late 19th century fob. The carnelian panel carved to depict a man wielding an axe and torch, within a motto garter surround, to the foliate embossed mount. Length 3.1cms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Wear to the gilt finish. Agate panel with minimal wear. Motto reads "Sub Libertate Quietem" or peace under liberty. Weight 10.3gms.
