An early 20th century old-cut diamond single-stone ring. The old-cut diamond, inset to the D-shape band. Estimated diamond weight 0.55ct, H-I colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Hallmarks indistinct. Weight 8.3gms.

Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches and scuffs in keeping with general wear, the setting is worn, and there are sizing marks to the slightly misshapen band. Worn maker's mark for Charles Green & sons. The diamond is are bright and lively. A small dark inclusion can be seen with the naked eye under the table other small inclusions can be seen under magnification. Ring size approximately O.
