A mid 20th century 18ct gold sapphire single-stone ring. The circular-shape sapphire, to the openwork gallery and tapered band. Estimated dimensions of sapphire: 7.4 by 7.4 by 4.75mms. Weight 2.4gms.

Overall condition good. Surface scratches and discolouration in keeping with general wear. Noticeable chip to corner oft able facet. Further chips and nibbles present to facet edges. Fairly even colour saturation, colour zoning visible. Violet to purplish-blue hue. Stamped 18ct. Ring size N 1/2.
