Lot Description
An open face pair case pocket watch. Hallmarked Birmingham possibly 1831. Unsigned full plate key wind fusee and chain movement with verge escapement, undersprung balance with finely pierced and engraved cock. Enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers and painted scene of a church by the riverside, with subsidiary seconds dial to three. Silver case. Outer case 55mm.

<li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement appears to display heavy scratches on the top plate around the regulator. Medium scratches and chips around the remainder of the dial. Cock appears to be intact.
<li>Dial currently displays light chips and pitting alongside several cracks in the area surrounding the dial.
<li>The minute hand is currently bent at the end. All hands display distinct rusting and tarnishing.
<li>The glass appears to have medium scratches and chips across the surface and one distinct scratch to the left sife of the glass.
<li>The front of the case seems to bear medium scratches and tarnishing, particularly around the hinge.
<li>Case back currently has significant pitting and dents alond with medium scratches and tarnishing to the perimeter.
<li>Outer case is heavily dented, scratched and tarnished with clear discolouration.
<li>Pendant currently has heavy scratches and heavy tarnishing and discolouration. The pendant bow is loose.
