An open face pocket watch by J.W. Benson. Hallmarked London 1928. Numbered 574048. Signed fifteen jewel keyless wind movement with club tooth lever escapement. White enamel dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 9ct yellow gold case. 47mm. 75gms.

<li>Keyless wind movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement displays medium scratches and marks. No apparent signs of alteration.
<li>Dial displays slight pitting to the enamel around the three and ten. Otherwise the dial appears to be in good condition.
<li>Hands currently have light marks and tarnishing.
<li>Glass appears to bear light scratching and marks.
<li>Case has light dents, medium scratches and tarnishing around the base of the pendant.
<li>Case back appears to show medium scratches and dents.
<li>Hinges currently display light wear to the corners.
<li>Crown appears to shows some wear under close examination.<p>
