Lot Description
A mid 20th century diamond and sapphire ring. The old-cut diamond, with rectangular-shape sapphire and baguette-cut diamond sides, to the polished band. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.50ct, H-I colour, P1 clarity. Weight 2.6gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Surface scratches and localised areas of discolouration in keeping with general age and wear. Band and settings moderately worn. Shoulder stones and diamond mount possibly replacements. The principal diamond is bright with nibbles near the girdle. There is a small white inclusion just off centre, visible without magnification.
