Lot Description

A late 19th century 9ct gold micro mosaic brooch. The oval-shape mosaic, depicting a rural scene with water mill, to the foliate accent scrolling surround. Length 6.8cms. Total weight 34.5gms.

The lot is in good overall condition with light scratches in keeping with general wear. Probable replacement fittings, slight soft solder visible. One tesseri probably deficient from small area of dark green foliage, partially filled by the coloured cement.
