A late 19th century 18ct gold emerald and diamond panel ring. The rectangular-shape emerald, within an old-cut diamond marquise-shape surround, to the openwork scroll shoulders and plain band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.25cts. Weight 4.1gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Split to the back of the band. Evidence of repair to some of the settings. Emerald bluish-green, moderate to good colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstone in fair condition with a large nick near to the girdle at one end. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Generally scattered inclusions visible under magnification, some with larger inclusions visible to the unaided eye.
