A late 19th century 9ct gold gem-set spider pendant. Designed as a spider with circular garnet cabochon and rectangular-shape emerald body, to the grooved legs. Length 3.6cms. Weight 7.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall condition good. Minor surface wear in keeping with age. Evidence of repair to the reverse, possibly originally a bar brooch, converted to a pendant. Some wear to the gilt surface. Garnet pinkish-red, moderate to dark colour saturation. Large surface reaching fractures and typical inclusions. Emerald bluish-green, moderate colour saturation. Fairly good clarity with typical inclusions. Gemstones in fair to good condition with some nicks and nibbles.
