Lot Description
A late 19th century Russian gold diamond and enamel foliate brooch. Designed as a cluster of rose-cut diamonds, each within a scalloped mount, to the naturalistic leaf-shape panel with black enamel edge. Stamped 56. Length 4.2cms. Weight 13.1gms.

Condition Report
The lot is in good to fair overall condition with scratches in keeping with general wear. Replacement base metal fittings, soft solder visible. Small repairs to the smaller rose-cut diamond fronds. Stamped 56 to two locations. Rose-cut diamonds with scattered, varying inclusions. Some obvious nicks to the edge of the diamonds. Estimated total diamond spread weight , which is no indication of the total diamond weight 2.50cts. Black enamel shows small surface nicks.
