A gem-set coin pendant. The Spanish silver 4-Reales early 17th century coin, within a plain and grooved panel surround, to the brilliant-cut diamond and circular-shape emerald surmount. Estimated total diamond weight 0.20ct. Length 4.3cms. Weight 14.9gms.

Overall condition fair to good. Some surface wear, nicks and scratches. One half of a grooved claw deficient. Scratch and acid stain to the surround. Coin in fair condition. Emerald with fair colour saturation. Large surface reaching inclusions, durability may be affected. Gemstone in fair condition with nicks and nibbles. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Profuse scattered light and dark coloured inclusions visible to the unaided eye. Diamonds in good condition with minor abrasion.
