Lot Description
A lady's early 20th century continental gold diamond and enamel manual wind fob watch. The circular gold-coloured dial, with black Arabic numerals, within an enamel border, to the diamond point, blue guilloche and white enamel reverse, suspended from an enamel and trace-link chain. Inner case with Foreign marks. Length of fob watch 3.6cms. Length of chain 41cms. Total weight 23.2gms.

Condition Report
Overall external condition fair. Some surface wear in keeping with age. Rust to the hands. Some discolouration to the dial. Two nicks to the side of the case. Replacement suspension loop stamped 375. Scratches and nicks to the enamel on the fob watch. Chips to the enamel on the chain. Diamonds fairly bright and well matched. Due to the nature of the diamond point it is not possible to calculate a total diamond weight. Estimated total diamond spread weight 0.07ct, which is no indication of the actual diamond weight. Individual size prevents accurate colour/clarity assessment. Diamonds in good condition with some abrasion and nicks. Watch movement not currently in working order.
