Condition Report
The jug displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Tarnishing is visible to the silver mounts and they would benefit from a clean and polish. Remnants of polish visible to the embossed decoration and there is slight loss to some of the surface detail or definition. Some small dints, mainly to handle and ball finial. The hinges to the lid are broken on one side so it is now very loose. The hallmarks are rubbed and a little distorted, mainly the lion passant, but still legible.
