Lot Description
An Edwardian silver single teapot in Art Nouveau style, the oval form with whiplash moulding and the conforming shape handle with foliate terminals, the whole raised on a shaped, skirted base. Hallmarked Elkington & Co Ltd., Birmingham 1902, also with impressed name and pattern number to the underside. Maximum teapot length measures 8 3/4 inches (22.2 cm), gross weight 14.12 ozt (439.3 grams).

Condition Report
The teapot displays some general wear including surface scratches, marks and slight dints/knocks commensurate with the age and use. Heavy tarnishing is visible throughout and it would benefit from a clean and polish. Also residues of polish. It wobbles a little. The handle insulators are a little loose and may require some attention. Hinged lid appears in working order. The hallmarks are clear and legible, also part hallmarks to lid and handle.
