Condition Report
The pot appears in fair overall condition, displaying general wear including surface scratches and marks commensurate with the age and use. Some quite heavy tarnishing and it would benefit from a polish. Some shallow dints and bumps are visible. The wood handle is loose in the mounts as the fixing pins are either missing or loose. The hinge is in working order but a gap remains when in the closed position. Some slight rubbing but the hallmarks and maker's marks are still clear and legible. An inscription to the underside reads 'Charles Desprez Bristol Silversmith'.
