Lot Description

A late Victorian silver rose bowl, with moulded rim, gadroon decoration to the lower body and raised above a circular foot with conforming gadrooned border. With circular plinth. Hallmarked Fenton Brothers Ltd., Sheffield 1897. Height of bowl measures 6 inches (15.2 cm), weight 14.77 ozt (459.3 grams).

The bowl displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some slight dints and knocks, also heavier marks and scratches to some areas. The rim is a little misshapen. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
