A Victorian silver teapot stand, the plain oval form with reeded rim and standing on four squat feet. Hallmarked Robert Roskell, Alan Roskell & John Mortimer Hunt, London 1887, numbered 9420. Maximum length measuring 6 inches (15 cm), weight 6 ozt (189 grams).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.
One of the feet has been a little compressed into the body and a shallow dent is now visible to the top surface of the stand. The hallmarks are clear and legible. Also marked, Hunt & Roskell Late Storr & Mortimer.
