Lot Description
An Edwardian pair of small silver vases, each plain in outline with bulbous lower body and everted rim, hallmarked A & J Zimmerman Ltd (Arthur & John Zimmerman), Birmingham 1905. Together with a small silver tazza decorated with embossed floral swags, hallmarked Gorham Manufacturing Co., Birmingham 1910. Height of vases measures 4 1/2 inches (11.5 cm), diameter of tazza measures 5 3/4 inches (14.5 cm), combined weight 9.47 ozt (294.5 grams).

Condition Report
In varied condition, all items displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. On one of the vases, there are several knocks to the foot rim so that it leans and wobbles when standing. Also the short stem is creased and squashed. There is some damage to the foot rim and stem of the other vase but to a lesser extent. Knocks to the foot rim of the tazza so that it also wobbles. Also some holes in the embossed decoration. The hallmarks and maker's marks appear a little rubbed and distorted in places but are all still legible.
