Lot Description
Two Victorian silver christening mugs, the first with moulded rim, applied scroll motifs to the spreading base and later engraved name within a floral wreath border, hallmarked Henry Wilkinson & Co., Sheffield 1850, the second with beaded and other decorative borders enclosing a circular name panel with later name and date engraving, hallmarked London 1874. Together with two early twentieth century silver christening mugs, both with bright cut engraved decoration, and a 1920's silver tot cup. Height of first mug measures 3 3/4 inches (9.5 cm), combined weight 13.33 ozt (414.5 grams). (5).

Condition Report
In fair to good overall condition, all the mugs in the lot displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Some slight dints. Heavier tarnishing to some interiors. Some seam lines are visible, especially to the early Victorian mug. This mug also has a later personal engraving to the underside 'From Grandma and Grandpa 1927'. Some rubbing and slight distortion but the hallmarks on all mugs are still legible.
