Lot Description
An Edwardian pair of silver candlesticks in eighteenth century style, each with campana shape socket above a knopped and fluted baluster stem and leading to a stepped and loaded base of rounded square form, also with fluted detail, the removable nozzle of conforming design. Hallmarked Fordham & Faulkner (William Charles Fordham & Albert Faulkner), Sheffield 1903. Height including nozzle measures 11 3/4 inches (30 cm).

Condition Report
In fairly good overall condition, both candlesticks displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavier scratches and marks visible to some areas. Some general little nicks/dints, especially along edges, and a couple of small holes starting to appear. Some seam lines visible. The nozzles appear to fit well. The hallmarks are clear and legible, corresponding part hallmarks to nozzles.
