An Edwardian pair of silver open salts, each of flared circular form with plain girdle detail above applied foliate motifs. Hallmarked William Aitken, Birmingham 1904. Diameter measures 2 1/2 inches (6.5 cm), weight 3.54 ozt (110.2 grams).

Both salts appear in fair to good overall condition displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks and maker's marks appear a little rubbed but are all still legible.
