Lot Description
An early twentieth century silver mounted and glass teapot stand, decorated with a border of pierced foliate motifs, hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham, date letter partly worn but possibly 1916. Together with a 1930's glass caster with silver collar and removable lid, the lid pierced with star motifs, hallmarked E Edmonds, Birmingham 1931. Diameter of stand measures 6 inches (15.2 cm), maximum height of caster measures 5 7/8 inches (15 cm). (2).

Condition Report
Both items display general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. Some tarnishing to the silver. Small area of damage and split in the metal to the pierced mount of the stand and it is lifting in places. Several little dints around the edge of the silver collar of the caster and some larger dints to the lid. Also some damage and widening to some of the star pierced holes. Some discolouration to the glass and some minor edge nicks/chips. Some rubbing and distortion to hallmarks but mainly legible.
