Condition Report
The caster displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Several dints and bumps are visible. Also several holes and splits along seam lines to both the main body and the cover. Possible solder repairs along some seam lines. The cover does have corresponding hallmarks but is quite a loose fit to the main body and a gap remains. The caster wobbles a little when standing. The hallmarks appear quite rubbed in places but are still legible. The maker's marks are very distorted but there is an impressed maker's name to the underside of the foot, which is clearly legible.
