Lot Description

A 1940's silver mug of plain tapered form and 'C' shaped handle, hallmarked S Blanckensee & Sons Ltd, Birmingham 1924, height measuring 4 5/8 inches (11.5 cm),weight 7.6 ozt (229 grams). Together with a 1930's silver bud vase, loaded base, hallmarked Birmingham 1939. (2).

The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.

A number of dents particularly to the base of the mug. Dents also to the rim of the bud vase, loading to the underside and remnants of being previously being mounted on a base. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
