Lot Description

A modern silver mug of classic tapering form, scrolling handle and inscribed 'To commemorate the voyage of Lt. James Cook in H.M Bark Endeavour', and further raised decorative panels portraying land and ship and inscribed flags and dates to back. Hallmarked Sheffield 1969, numbered 151/750. With green leather presentation case embossed with dates and Australian crest. Height 4 3/4 inches (12 cm), weight 21.97 ozt (683.7 grams).

In good general condition. Stamped Sterling to base. Showing a lot of tarnishing and in need of a good clean. Some label residue to one side. Case in good condition in keeping with age, a few small nicks to leather at edges. Also comes with cardboard box and handling gloves.
