Lot Description
A 1920's/1930's silver matched three piece tea service comprising teapot, cream jug and sugar bowl, each of plain and bulbous form with scrolled rim and standing on three pad feet, the teapot with fruitwood handle and conforming finial to the domed and hinged lid.
Hallmarked Atkin Brothers, Sheffield 1929/36/37. Maximum teapot length measures 10 1/4 inches (26 cm), gross weight 30.67 ozt (954 grams).

Condition Report
The lot appears in good overall condition, all the pieces displaying some general wear including surface scratches, marks and some tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Several heavier marks and deeper scratches are visible to the interior of the cream and sugar. The interior of the teapot is heavily stained and tarnished. Hinged cover appears in good working order. The hallmarks appear a little rubbed in places but all are still legible.
