Lot Description

A 1920's silver cream jug of plain baluster form with moulded rim and girdle detail, having a scroll handle and raised above a circular spreading foot. Hallmarked Adie Brothers Ltd., Birmingham 1922. Height including handle measures 3 7/8 inches (9.8 cm), weight 4.4 ozt (137 grams).

The jug appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use.  Some minor dints.  The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible.  Registration number to the underside 689888, also number 16380/1.
