A 1930's plain silver teapot of bulbous oblong form, with gadroon rim, stained wood handle and finial to the domed lid and the whole raised on four ball feet. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd., Sheffield 1937. Overall teapot length measures 11 inches (28 cm), gross weight 23.99 ozt (746.2 grams).

Condition Report
The teapot displays general wear including surface scratches, marks, slight nicks/dints and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Heavy staining to the interior. Would benefit from a clean and polish. Residues of polish. Fixing pin missing or broken off at the base of the handle. Hinged lid appears in working order. The hallmarks are clear and legible, lid marked with lion passant.
