A pair of modern silver candlesticks of plain oval outline, each with a vase shape socket and tapering stem and raised above a stepped oval base. Hallmarked Alexander Smith, Birmingham 1972. Height measures 7 7/8 inches (20 cm), weight 10.37 ozt (322.4 grams).

Condition Report
Both candlesticks display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some general little nicks in the metal and areas of heavier marks. Some tiny holes starting to appear along seam lines of both stems, and a larger hole to the shoulder of one. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
