Lot Description
An Art Nouveau silver mounted photograph frame of shaped rectangular outline with arched base, the silver front embossed with stylised foliate motifs, stained wood easel back. Hallmarked J Aitkin & Son, Birmingham 1908.

Condition Report
The frame displays general surface scratches, marks and wear commensurate with the age and use. The silver mount is quite heavily tarnished and would benefit from a clean and polish. Some minor dints and the mount is lifting in places. The hallmarks are clear and legible. Wear to the edges and corners of the stained wood and the top fixing screws need tightening.
