Lot Description

A selection of Georg Jensen silver Acorn pattern spoons to include four dinner spoons, six dessert spoons, eight large, five medium and four small teaspoons and three jam spoons, also a sauce ladle, some with personal engraving to reverse of bowls. Most marked Georg Jensen, post 1945 mark, sterling Denmark, five dessert spoons and one jam spoon with maker's mark circa 1933-1944, and one jam spoon struck with the 1915-1930 maker's mark alongside the Three Towers mark with date 1929 and the Assay Master mark for Christian F. Heise. Combined weight 37.28 ozt (1159.6 grams).

All the pieces display general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with their age and use. Heavier marks and little nicks are visible, also minor dints. Bowls have all faired well. Some rubbing but the maker's marks and other marks are all mainly legible.
